The Adventure Journal series is a set of bespoke adventurist almanacs and journals, both of which offer analog resources for coordinating trips and documenting all the invaluable memories, plans, and spontaneous discoveries one needs to safely move about the world with spirit and agility.
I created a design language that standardized the series’ layout, typography and image blocks, while leaving room for each book to have its own personality through the use of unique color, pattern, and imagery.

Travel Journals
The Muir Travelers’s Journal design was inspired by his love for nature and feature topographical maps overlaid on earth-tone colors, while the Steinbeck offers simple color blocks inspired by some of his early book cover designs, which echoes his simple, sparse, and direct writing style.

The Pelton
The Pelton is named for Robert Young Pelton; author, journalist, documentary film maker and quite possibly the actual ‘most interesting man in the world’. It offers an analog place to record contacts, travel notes, and important information you need when SHTF (or you just lose WiFi). The cover design features stealthy dark colors and imagery that harkens back to the explorers of old.

The Adventurist
The Adventurist travel almanac designs take inspiration from some of the more interesting corners of the world, using bold colors taken from the unique imagery adorning their covers.
